Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in supervisory role in a restaurant or banquet setting
  • food service background at the server level
  • knowledge of bar service and liquor inventory controls
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
  • willingness to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
  • check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • prepare and serve drink and/or food orders
  • take orders, serve and clear food and beverage to guests in bar and lounge areas if applicable
  • issue guest check and complete payment process
  • follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests
  • complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels
  • complete required side work prior to shift end
  • be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing them
  • interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates
  • monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in food and beverage outlets
  • ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
  • interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food
  • perform service functions during high volume or staffing shortages
  • assist with maintaining proper par levels and inventories of supplies
  • ensure adherence to state, federal and corporate alcohol serving requirements
  • ensure all equipment is in working order and report malfunctions
  • follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView
  • practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
