Job Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience in luxury hotel environment preferred
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of hotel operating systems
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
- Fluency in English with current US work authorization
- Spanish language skills preferred
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar supervisory role
- Experience in a luxury hotel setting preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and challenge a diverse team
- Proficiency in computer and hotel operating systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is required
- Ability to speak Spanish strongly preferred
- Outgoing and people-oriented personality
- Effective interpersonal skills and a strong team player
- Familiarity with state and local safety regulations including OSHA
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Administer and control all laundry and valet operations to achieve Four Seasons standards and objectives
- Make inspection trips through entire laundry area checking on production methods and procedures
- Oversee production reports ensuring all counts are accurate and linen is accounted for daily
- Ensure all staff receive continuous training and refinement
- Maintain good working relationships with all hotel departments and clients
- Develop production schedules to meet client requirements
- Participate in inventories of uniforms, linens and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment in the laundry and valet department
- Order and manage all equipment and chemicals and train staff on their proper use and care
- Monitor and participate in maintenance programs for all equipment
- Adjust schedules and operations to provide service for hotel and off-site accounts
- Establish and implement energy conservation policies and procedures
- Participate in daily processes of receiving, handling, tagging, spotting, cleaning, pressing, and packaging of guest and staff clothes
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of linens from off-site clients
- Respond appropriately in any hotel emergency or safety situation
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
