Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Possess basic knowledge in the use of laundry cleaning equipment
- Ongoing safety training, training and seminars related to Environmental Services preferred
- At least six months of related work experience at a retirement community, health care center, nursing home, or residential complex

Job Duties
- Performs routine, repetitive laundry cleaning tasks to include sorting, washing, drying, pressing table linen and napkins, and distributing finished products
- Documents the number of loads of laundry processed daily
- Replaces chemicals for washers and refills paper towel and hand soap dispensers as needed
- Promptly reports equipment malfunctions or other mechanical or safety concerns to Supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Keeps laundry room and storage rooms clean, neat, and orderly
- Marks laundry for proper identification
