- Ability to follow culinary standards and safety protocols
- Basic food handling knowledge
- Capability to work in a fast-paced team environment

- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lifting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Receive daily assignments from executive chef or sous chef
- Set up and stock station as directed
- Wash, peel, chop, grate and slice vegetables for dishes
- Prepare ingredients according to specifications
- Prepare meats by cutting or slicing into portions
- Make sauces, stocks, soups, and salads
- Test food temperatures at specified intervals
- Collaborate with culinary team members
- Receive deliveries and stock items appropriately
- Rotate stock to maintain freshness
- Store leftover food to minimize waste
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Assist front of house with buffet set-up and replenishment
