Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous culinary supervisory experience required
  • knowledge of food safety, preparation techniques, and kitchen operations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat and noise
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • adherence to safety procedures and wearing required PPE
  • strong time management and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing/cooking menu items according to recipes and portion standards
  • ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at proper temperatures
  • assist in menu prep, ingredient storage, and inventory rotation
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen at all times
  • follow all food safety, HACCP, and health department regulations
  • supervise servers, bartenders and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  • assist with ordering, receiving and storing deliveries properly
  • schedule Bistro Team according to operational needs
