Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must adhere to Hooters kitchen uniform and grooming standards
Ability to perform tasks while visible to guests
Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks
Basic knife handling skills
Awareness of safe food handling and equipment safety practices

Job Duties

Execute proper food safety and sanitation standards
Ensure food quality standards
Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and picture perfect
Follow Hooters recipes and operating procedures and systems
Adhere to Hooters kitchen uniform and hygiene standards
Display a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management
Synchronize food orders by time
Complete food orders with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas throughout shift
Complete daily tasks and assigned project work
Set up and break down kitchen stations
Maintain dish area cleanliness and remove trash
Receive and rotate food supplies
Continuously develop kitchen knowledge
