Job Requirements
- Ability to work opening to mid-afternoon shifts from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm
- physical capacity to meet the demands of the role including lifting and standing
- willingness to adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- basic proficiency in English or Spanish for communication
- capability to work a 10-12 hour shift
- prepared to perform in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- flexible to work one of two consistent teams with a three-day workweek schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food preparation or fast-paced kitchen settings is an advantage but not required
- ability to follow food safety protocols strictly
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- good communication skills, proficiency in English and/or Spanish is beneficial
- physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting 30-50 lbs, lifting above the head, repetitive motion, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prep with precision by chopping, slicing, seasoning, and preparing ingredients to meet high standards
- assemble orders accurately ensuring each menu item is presented and tasted perfectly
- keep the kitchen stocked by restocking ingredients, supplies, and tools consistently
- maintain a safe and spotless kitchen environment by upholding food safety guidelines and cleanliness standards
- work with purpose and efficiency in a high-energy kitchen while following all safety and procedural protocols
- collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
