Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years culinary or kitchen leadership experience
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Commitment to service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in culinary or kitchen leadership role
  • 2-3 years post-high school education or equivalent professional experience
  • Culinary training preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of food service principles and kitchen management
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
  • Effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage, train, and supervise kitchen staff
  • Coordinate daily culinary operations
  • Oversee kitchen activities to ensure quality and service efficiency
  • Forecast food consumption and procure supplies
  • Select, refine, and standardize recipes
  • Establish presentation techniques and menu pricing
  • Ensure kitchen equipment maintenance and safety compliance
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
  • Manage special catering events
  • Provide culinary instruction and mentor junior staff
