Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months
- Experience in kitchen management or food service supervision
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to stand and perform physical kitchen tasks for long periods
- Capability to lift items up to 40 lbs
- Availability to work 40 hours per week over 172 days annually
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to train and develop kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations
- Experience with inventory management and financial record keeping
Job Duties
- Manage overall kitchen operations and food preparation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Maintain accurate kitchen financial records and inventory
- Monitor and maintain food cost and labor efficiency ratios
- Handle employee performance and staffing issues
- Promote positive relationships with staff, students, and parents
