Job Requirements
- mobility and manual dexterity including ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb stairs, perform extensive walking and stand up to 10 hours or more per day
- ability to lift 40lbs and carry 10 feet
- ability to work at least 40 hours per week or more as needed
- capability to handle stressful situations and conflict resolution
- ability to complete prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs accurately
- understanding of basic electronic devices and software
- effective communication with management and team
Job Qualifications
- experience in kitchen management or related culinary position
- strong leadership and team training skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- proficiency with electronic devices, mobile phones, computers, POS systems, spreadsheets, and contemporary software apps
- ability to manage food cost and labor within budget
- understanding of safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Produce safe, high-quality food with excellent presentation
- maintain a spotlessly clean and high-functioning kitchen, storage, and prep areas
- train and lead the kitchen team
- meet or exceed food cost and kitchen labor goals
- complete prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs
- communicate openly and partner with General Manager, Supervisors, and senior leadership to execute solutions
- handle stressful situations and conflict resolution effectively
