- current Kitchen Manager Certificate
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds
- capability to work at ovens, steamers, and dish/utensil sanitizers
- ability to work independently
- strong communication skills

- strong organizational skills

- experience in food preparation or kitchen management
- knowledge of Federal and State dietary guidelines

Job Duties
- Prepare food for guests in a mental health crisis center
- ensure compliance with Federal and State dietary guidelines, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- manage meal planning and food preparation within monthly budget limits
- maintain current Kitchen Manager Certificate
- stand for majority of the day and handle physical kitchen tasks including lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds
- work independently with minimal supervision
- communicate individual and system problems effectively to supervisors
- manage time efficiently and maintain strong organizational skills
