Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with food truck movement/setup is a plus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours), work in heat, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and events
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Prior experience in mobile food service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of kitchen leadership experience (Kitchen Manager, Lead Line Cook, or similar)
  • Strong ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with solid time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a compact, mobile kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt on the fly

Job Duties

  • Lead daily food truck kitchen operations from prep to service
  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment
  • Coordinate logistics for food truck service (setup, breakdown, mobility)
  • Partner with operations leadership on menu execution and improvements
  • Jump in wherever needed—this is a hands-on leadership role
