Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Frequent standing walking bending and reaching throughout shift
- Ability to work near heat cold and wet surfaces
- Extended periods of standing and working in high-volume kitchen
- Safe and efficient use of knives kitchen tools and cooking equipment
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Current Food Safety Certification
- Culinary experience and leadership in kitchen operations
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have current Food Safety Certification
- 3 to 5 years of culinary experience with 1 to 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations in fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety sanitation and cost control principles
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to train motivate and lead diverse kitchen team
- Passion for local sourcing fresh ingredients and authentic hospitality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Oversee all kitchen operations ensuring quality consistency and efficiency
- Prepare cook and present menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Lead daily prep and production ensuring food meets freshness and flavor expectations
- Develop mentor and inspire culinary team fostering craftsmanship and collaboration
- Maintain portion control presentation and timing across all menu offerings
- Monitor and achieve sales margin expense and labor targets
- Hire train and mentor kitchen staff maintaining company standards
- Enforce food safety sanitation and allergen management procedures
- Manage inventory levels ordering and receiving products
- Maintain accurate records of prep levels waste logs and daily production
- Ensure all kitchen areas tools and equipment are cleaned sanitized and maintained
- Conduct regular temperature checks audits and safety inspections
- Represent the brand with professionalism enthusiasm and commitment to hospitality
- Continuously seek opportunities to elevate food quality presentation and consistency
