Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Saturday including opening (6am) and closing (10pm) shifts
- Willingness to work certain holidays and special events
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week in the restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage inventory and kitchen operations effectively
- Commitment to maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards
- Ability to coach, evaluate, and hold team members accountable
- Capacity to work with a multicultural team
- Must be able to plan and communicate effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and team coaching skills
- Ability to maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to quality and customer service
- Experience with inventory management and ordering

Job Duties
- Always delivering crave-able food in a timely manner that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A quality requirements
- Coaching the behaviors of all team members who work in the Heart of House
- Ensuring a sense of urgency that creates surprisingly fast speed of service
- Maintaining attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed
- Executing systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
- Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
- Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen
- Managing inventory and performing end-of-month counts and input
- Maintaining accurate transfer logs
- Effectively ordering supplies to ensure efficient operations
- Maintaining a LEAN production environment
- Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen team members
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities
- Ensuring all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on a set schedule
- Allocating time to plan at least two hours per week
- Communicating kitchen-related goals and success factors to team members
- Leading and nurturing a multicultural kitchen team
- Aligning hiring, training, daily practices, and evaluation with the vision and thematic goals for the year
- Leading daily activities to ensure excellent customer service
- Adjusting to multiple demands and shifting priorities
