Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in kitchen or restaurant management
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of over 25 employees including assistant managers
  • Availability to attend monthly meetings at the home office in Gulf Shores, Alabama
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
  • Must comply with company dress code and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant or kitchen management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Familiarity with inventory control and expense management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Coordinate efforts between the front of the house and the back of the house
  • Select, hire and train staff
  • Coach, counsel and discipline employees on performance, service and attendance issues
  • Process employee terminations
  • Manage quality control
  • Plan and assign daily goals, tasks and assignments and assure proper completion through follow-up
  • Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures and enforce those policies with the team
  • Attend monthly manager meetings at the home office and communicate pertinent information with restaurant staff
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
  • Other duties as directed by management
