Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in restaurant kitchen roles
  • Experience as prep cook or line cook
  • Ability to train and lead staff
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Effective interpersonal communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years restaurant kitchen experience
  • Has held responsible positions of prep or line cook
  • Ability to train, guide and lead staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Good problem solving techniques
  • Good interpersonal skills, works well with a team
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Valid drivers license with reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Follow sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations, P&L, production output and food costs
  • Maintain ongoing proper food inventory levels and product pricing
  • Follow company guidelines on vendor relationships
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing menu sales promotions
  • Assist the General Manager with recruiting and hiring Kitchen Crew and Utility Staff
  • Assist with ordering and maintenance of all food and paper inventories
  • Assure that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant
