Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen or food and beverage management
  • Ability to work in hot or cold environments
  • Capability to pick up heavy items
  • Availability to work flexible hours including game days and special events
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or food and beverage industry preferred
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage and train staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Ability to coordinate schedules and manage inventory
  • Understanding of menu creation and pricing strategies

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared, and served based on the department's recipe and portion standards
  • Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials
  • Scheduling shifts by business hours, days, and occasions
  • Evaluate and celebrate or implement necessary corrective action of kitchen personnel
  • Supervising food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive a consistent experience
  • Maintaining clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the ballpark's preventive maintenance measures
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting inventories as needed
  • Working with the Food & Beverage managers to create, portion, and price out menu items
  • Maintain a standard of health and safety higher than state and local health departments
