Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- capability to work effectively in a high-energy, noisy environment
- ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
- frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting
- use of hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform tasks with fine motor skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is advantageous
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for portion control and inventory management
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- inform immediate supervisor of any operational issues or unusual circumstances and proactively suggest solutions
- efficiently manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation of food items
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently reporting any malfunctions
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas including washing dishes and utensils
- assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
- collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and service team members
- support fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
- foster a positive and cooperative working relationship with all team members
