Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Team Member role
- Ability to lift and handle items up to approximately 40 pounds
- Tactile sensitivity to assess food quality and complete detail-oriented tasks
- Visual and auditory attentiveness to maintain quality and safety during operations
- Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen or restaurant settings with high-volume food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety practices, ideally with Food Handler or ServSafe certification
- Strong time management and organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Familiarity with kitchen management tools and inventory systems preferred
- Experience with local and sustainable ingredients a plus
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen with a focus on quality and consistency while ensuring smooth operations across all shifts
- Measure, cut, organize, and ensure product standards are met
- Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively, including ovens and electrical tools
- Conduct quality assessments requiring fine motor skills and tactile sensitivity
- Engage in verbal communication with team members for coordination, coaching, and documentation
- Observe and assess performance to ensure operational quality and adherence to standards
- Maintain physical presence on the floor by engaging in hands-on tasks and staying visible
- Organize workflow, anticipate demand, and manage tasks efficiently
- Perform essential duties and meet minimum requirements outlined in the Team Member role
