Job Requirements
- Criminal background screening is required
- Show valid proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 before commencing work or commit to obtaining full vaccination within 30 days unless exempt
- Availability for part-time schedule including Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Ability to follow instructions from the Culinary Director
- Capable of performing multitasking and moving quickly in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Be excited to learn, even without prior restaurant or customer service experience
- Be open to changing roles as needed
- Stay positive and maintain a cheerful demeanor during busy times
- Be patient and understanding with customer requests or concerns
- Notice when areas need cleaning and help keep dining spaces tidy and safe
Job Duties
- Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director
- Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure theyre happy
- Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner
- Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area clean and orderly
- Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe
- After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks
