Job Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients to support chefs and cooks
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent spoilage
- Support meal preparation and plating for various service periods, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
- Help with the setup and breakdown of catering events or special functions as needed
- Follow all food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
- Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous manner during catering or restaurant service
