Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- pass criminal background screening
- flexible schedule including summers
- willingness to work beyond regular hours as needed
- ability to manage budgeting and expenses
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience in youth programming and development
- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- strong communication skills
- ability to mentor others
- demonstrated ability to work with youth, parents, and colleagues
- strong written communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of age-appropriate programs for grades K-3
- provide direct service to members
- develop and foster a positive youth development climate
- manage member behavior and administer behavior management systems
- collaborate with the Elementary Director on scheduling and budgeting
- promote and market programs and services
- meet with parents to discuss concerns
- supervise hiring, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions of program staff
- perform other assigned duties
