Job Requirements

  • previous experience in dishwashing in a full-service restaurant preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform daily sanitation and cleaning of all food and beverage areas
  • maintain health department standards and JW Marriott brand standards
  • follow JW service notes, service harmonies, and core values
  • adhere to AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures
  • assist guests and provide excellent guest service
  • complete cleaning duties and side cleaning tasks
  • maintain overall sanitation of kitchens, pantries, and hallways
  • operate and maintain dish machines and wash dishes by hand
  • assist with food and equipment transportation to event locations
  • support concierge lounge food transportation and service
  • assist on dish-up lines and maintain food warmers, service lines, and carts
  • assist in maintaining cleanliness in the Global Cafe
  • run food, dishes, and equipment for culinary, restaurant, and banquet staff
  • monitor food waste and dish breakage
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen, restaurant, carts, shelves, and food warmers
  • sweep, mop, and scrub kitchen floors
  • handle trash disposal and recycling
  • communicate product needs, shortages, and equipment repairs
  • participate in departmental meetings and provide suggestions
  • follow safety standards and practice safe work habits
  • maintain professional appearance and attendance
