Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Japanese kitchen or food service environment is required
  • Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and fine dining techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with knife skills and culinary terminology
  • Ability to commute to Fountain Valley, CA
  • Ability to relocate to Fountain Valley, CA before starting work
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time
  • Willingness to work an 8 hour shift

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work environment
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
