Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Internal candidates require 1+ years as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager with 100% certification in all workstations
- External candidates require 3 years of management experience with full P&L responsibility
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
- Must hold ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to lift 10-65 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and a computer
- Must use personal vehicle for deposits and travel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
- Must be 18 years or older
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficient in basic math concepts
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure development and talent management
- Ensure training systems on workstations are implemented and adhered to
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- Manage daily operations to achieve operational excellence
- Provide exceptional guest experiences and consistently deliver quality service and food
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
- Analyze operational and financial performance and implement improvements
- Focus efforts on increasing sales and profitability while protecting the brand
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Respond timely to guest concerns and complaints
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- Recognize and reward employee achievements
- Serve as a role model for excellent guest service
- Operate and understand Jack in the Box systems, processes, and tools
