Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- 21 years old or older to deliver alcohol
- eligible to work in the United States
- consistent access to a vehicle
- have a recent smartphone
- ability to work as an independent contractor
- pass background check if required
- possess valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- familiarity with using smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- ability to lift and carry grocery bags and parcels
Job Duties
- Receive and review orders through the Shopper app
- shop for grocery items accurately and efficiently at local stores
- deliver orders promptly to customers’ doorsteps
- maintain communication with customers regarding order status
- handle customer requests and substitutions professionally
- manage shopping and delivery schedules independently
- ensure quality and safety of delivered items
