Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile apps proficiently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of grocery and household products
- Good navigation and time management skills
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying groceries
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Receive and accept shopping orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for groceries and other items at local stores according to customer lists and preferences
- Deliver purchased items promptly and accurately to customers' residences
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
- Manage order accuracy and quality control during the shopping process
- Navigate stores efficiently to optimize shopping time
- Handle payments and receive tips through the app
