Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Consistent access to a reliable vehicle
- Ownership of a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart app
- Ability to deliver alcohol only if 21 years or older
- Must comply with all local laws and regulations for delivery services
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of grocery products and shopping practices
- Ability to use a smartphone app for order management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry grocery items
- Familiarity with local store locations and neighborhoods
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving history
Job Duties
- Receive and manage orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop accurately for ordered items at local grocery stores
- Deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Manage time efficiently to complete multiple orders in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and responsible driving record while completing deliveries
- Handle payments including tipping and promotional earnings as part of the order process
