Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- eligible to work in the United States
- consistent access to a vehicle
- possession of a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- ability to lift grocery bags and perform physical tasks
- reliable navigation skills and familiarity with local area
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in retail, grocery shopping, or delivery services is advantageous
- strong knowledge of grocery items and attention to detail
- ability to use a smartphone app proficiently
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- capability to handle physical activity such as lifting and walking required during shopping
- flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- receive shopping orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- shop for groceries accurately from local stores according to customer preferences
- pack and organize purchased items for delivery
- deliver orders to customers’ doors in a timely and courteous manner
- communicate with customers to clarify order details or substitutions
- manage payment and tipping through the app
- maintain a high standard of customer service during shopping and delivery
