Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 and over to deliver alcohol)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a vehicle
- Possess a recent smartphone capable of running the Shopper app
- Ability to lift and carry grocery bags
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license as applicable
- Comply with local regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is beneficial
- Ability to use a smartphone and related applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Receive and accept shopping orders via the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for groceries accurately and efficiently from local stores
- Select items ensuring quality and freshness
- Communicate with customers for order clarifications
- Deliver grocery orders promptly to customers' doors
- Handle payments, including tips, through the app
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor during interactions
