Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Consistent access to a vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use a smartphone and operate mobile applications
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail for selecting correct product items
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Receive and review shopping orders through the Shopper app
- Select fresh and high-quality products according to customer preferences
- Pack groceries ensuring items are organized and protected
- Deliver orders to customers' doorstep following timely and safe driving practices
- Communicate professionally with customers to clarify order details or substitutions
- Manage payment processing and handle cash or card transactions when required
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards while shopping and delivering
