Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older (21 years or older to deliver alcohol)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Consistent access to a vehicle
- Have a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Have a clean driving record
- Able to lift 30 pounds consistently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail, customer service, or delivery roles helpful but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use smartphone apps effectively
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with local geography
- Ability to lift and carry grocery bags safely
Job Duties
- Receive orders via the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for groceries at local stores accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ doorsteps
- Maintain excellent customer service during interactions
- Manage time effectively to maximize earnings and complete deliveries
- Follow all safety and health guidelines while shopping and delivering
- Communicate with customers or support teams when issues arise
