Job Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Consistent access to a vehicle
- Ownership of a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart app
- Willingness to comply with safety and health guidelines
- Ability to lift and carry grocery bags
- 21+ years old to deliver alcohol
- Subject to availability of batches in your area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail, grocery shopping, or delivery services is a plus but not required
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate mobile applications proficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and responsible with a good driving record
- Basic knowledge of local stores and products
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Receive and process customer orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for groceries and household items accurately according to customer preferences
- Deliver orders promptly to customer doorsteps
- Maintain communication with customers regarding order status and substitutions
- Follow safety and health protocols while shopping and delivering
- Manage time effectively to maximize earnings and customer satisfaction
- Handle payment and tipping processes securely and transparently
