Job Requirements

Previous food and beverage experience in a hotel environment preferred
Must be of minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, reach and bend throughout shift
Knowledge of food handling policies and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate in English
Basic computer knowledge including Micros or other POS systems
Food handling certificate
TIPS certification
Knowledge of food and wine is an asset
Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
Ability to multitask effectively
Excellent eye for detail and ability to work under pressure
Effective listening and guest communication skills

Job Duties

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all menu items and specials and ensure that every product delivered to the guest adheres to the highest quality possible
Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner
Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
Bring all dishes back to the stewarding area
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
