Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree preferred not required
  • minimum two years of import trafficking experience with a freight forwarder or broker
  • two to three years of customer service experience
  • ability to thrive in fast-paced office environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • detail oriented
  • strong organizational skills
  • team player
  • pc literate with ms office
  • no relocation or immigration assistance available

Job Duties

  • coordinate import trafficking functions
  • enter and manage shipment data
  • distribute shipment documentation
  • process customer air shipment orders and ensure compliance with US custom requirements
  • monitor shipment status and report non-conformances
  • maintain current and accurate data tables
  • assist with accounting issues
  • perform request for information and request for quotation activities
  • facilitate cargo pickup and delivery arrangements
  • finalize billing and distribute related documents
