Job Requirements

  • a four year BS/BA degree is preferred
  • experience handling import trafficking functions with a freight forwarder or broker
  • two to three years experience in customer service duties
  • ability to work in a fast paced office
  • good communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • strong organizational skills
  • teamwork attitude
  • PC literacy with MS Office applications
  • no relocation or immigration assistance provided

Job Duties

  • coordinate import trafficking functions
  • perform data entry and document distribution duties
  • receive and log shipment documents
  • confirm compliance with US Customs requirements
  • process documents as per regulations
  • arrange cargo pickup and delivery
  • finalize billing and distribute shipment documents
  • review daily shipment status reports
  • monitor measurement standards compliance
  • report shipment non-conformances proactively
  • maintain and update data tables
  • assist in resolving accounting issues
  • handle RFI and RFQ requests
  • ensure timely and accurate communication
