UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge is a distinctive Southern California meeting and retreat venue nestled in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains. This 50-acre property offers a serene and natural environment on the shores of Lake Arrowhead, making it an ideal destination for conferences, retreats, and family programs. The lodge operates from September through mid-June catering to groups with various meeting spaces and accommodations. During the summer months, the Bruins Woods Family Camp runs for ten consecutive weeks, hosting up to 80 families each week, showcasing the lodge's versatile functions in both professional and family-oriented settings.

Job Requirements
- 5 years experience in human resources including employee relations and personnel policies
- Advanced knowledge of HR policies and labor relations within unionized environment
- Ability to interpret and apply employment laws
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues
- Proficiency in HR systems and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience in organizational development and change management
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in payroll operations and auditing
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Must obtain and maintain fingerprint roller certification
- Background check required

- Candidate must be 18 years or older

Job Qualifications
- 5 years experience in human resources including employee relations and payroll processing
- Advanced knowledge of HR policies and practices in a unionized environment
- Ability to interpret federal, state, and local employment laws including FMLA, ADA, EEO
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution
- Proficiency in HR systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience in organizational development
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in payroll operations and auditing
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
- Must obtain and maintain fingerprint roller certification
Job Duties
- Manage employee relations and workplace investigations
- Oversee administration of personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements
- Process and audit payroll ensuring compliance
- Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws
- Conduct conflict mediation and disciplinary actions
- Develop and implement organizational development and change management strategies
- Supervise and mentor HR staff and provide guidance to managers
