Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in custodial or related field
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid Class E Florida Driver’s License
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Health assessment clearance

- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemical safety
- Valid Class E Florida Driver’s License
- Ability to work varied shifts and overtime as needed
Job Duties
- Cleans and maintains halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators
- Performs minor repair work on furniture, fixtures, floors, plumbing
- Assists skilled trades employees by preparing job sites, changing belts, filters, lights, ceiling tiles
- Completes light plumbing work including opening clogged drains and repairing leaky fixtures
- Cleans and maintains all floors and floor coverings including vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, sealing, waxing
- Cleans entrances, entrance walks, steps, concourses, and all exterior and interior glass surfaces
- Empties and cleans waste cans, trashcans, recycle bins, water fountains, doormats
- Assists maintenance staff in painting, replacement, remodeling, construction projects
