Job Requirements
- Must have good communication and organization skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to lift heavy items on a consistent basis
- Must have flexibility to work AM and PM shifts any day of the week including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically fit to perform the job’s duties
- Prior housekeeping experience is beneficial
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to walk and move frequently during shifts
- Must have genuine service orientation
- Training or experience with cleaning machinery preferred
Job Qualifications
- Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work various shifts especially weekends and holidays
- Must have good organization skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision
- Must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude
- Must be physically fit to perform and complete all duties as required
- Must be able to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, squat, lean and rotate body
- Must be able to provide genuine service to all guests
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
- Previous housekeeping experience in office, resorts, cruise ships or hotels is an asset
- Previous experience with HotSOS/Rex is preferred
- Must have knowledge of cleaning machines such as extractor, hi-lo speed bonnet, buffing machine, spot extractor, wide area vacuum
Job Duties
- Shampoo and extract carpets
- Clean grout, windows, and furniture
- Operate cleaning machines including extractors and buffing machines
- Work independently and maintain good communication with guests and team members
- Lift, push, and carry heavy items consistently
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
- Maintain organization and cleanliness standards as per Hyatt guidelines
