Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • team-oriented attitude with a positive and helpful demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to work various shifts especially weekends and holidays including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • must have good organization skills
  • must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision
  • must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude
  • must be physically fit to perform and complete all duties as required
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • must be able to bend, squat, lean and rotate body
  • must be able to provide genuine service to all guests
  • clear concise written and verbal communication skills
  • previous housekeeping experience in office, resorts, cruise ships or hotels is an asset
  • previous experience with HotSOS or Rex is preferred

Job Duties

  • maintain the cleanliness of the hotel areas
  • stock and manage inventory of housekeeping supplies
  • deep clean guest rooms as needed
  • assist room attendants with linen and other housekeeping tasks
  • communicate effectively with team members and management
  • perform physical tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate weights
  • adapt to flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
