Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items that weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under supervision and independently
- Ability to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
- Physical ability to perform duties such as bending, twisting, lifting, and standing for long periods
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of designated areas including guest rooms, offices, and storage rooms
- Cleaning and folding laundry for resort rooms, fitness club, and spa
- Delivering guest-requested items such as additional linens, hair dryers, kitchen items stocked for housekeeping, additional bedding, or childcare items (cribs or highchairs)
- Receiving delivery of clean linen and preparing soiled linen for pick up by the laundry company
- Ensuring the satisfaction of after-hours housekeeping services requested by resort guests, room touch-ups, and guest-requested items
- Welcoming and greeting guests and anticipating and addressing their needs
- Interacting with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- Contributing to team goals
- Always following company policies and safety procedures
