Job Requirements
- Ability to respond promptly to guest and department requests
- Capability to identify maintenance issues
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and lifting tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work efficiently on assigned floors
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality industry an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- Receive linen supplies from floor shoots
- Maintain housekeeping carts
- Remove trash collected by room attendants
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen
- Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
