Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well under pace and pressure
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for several hours, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, and moving throughout the hotel
- Able to operate computers, office machinery and use telephones effectively
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Desire to serve guests and provide excellent hospitality
- Knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily and use their names whenever possible
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, and work areas
- Manage housekeeping team and conduct daily stand-up meetings
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure quality and cleanliness
- Manage guest request logs and VIP guest needs
- Maintain supply inventory and order housekeeping supplies
- Conduct deep cleaning activities in coordination with maintenance
- Monitor chemical safety compliance according to OSHA standards
- Maintain lost and found procedures and key control system
- Submit and follow up on maintenance work orders
- Complete operational checklists and shift handover reports accurately and timely
