Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or supervisory experience preferred
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent communication and leadership abilities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
- ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- willingness to interact and lead a diverse team
- physical ability to be on feet and navigate hotel floors regularly
Job Qualifications
- proficiency in English reading writing and verbal communication
- housekeeping leadership experience preferred
- adaptable interpersonal communication skills for all employee levels
- intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- ability to work varying schedules including days nights weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- reinforce company ideologies related to hospitality and collaboration
- actively participate in interviewing hiring training scheduling coaching and motivating associates
- ensure adherence to Respectful Workplace guidelines and promote diversity equity and inclusion
- model open-door policy and employee engagement practices demonstrating positive work ethic
- coach team to deliver exceptional guest interactions with professionalism
- monitor physical conditions of hotel facilities and collaborate on maintenance programs
- work with external contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of work prioritizing guest experience
- collaborate with team to meet daily operational standards creating supportive environment
- maintain knowledge of safety security and emergency procedures responding effectively
- partner with Director of Rooms and leadership team to provide excellent guest experience
- lead and develop Guest Services associates supporting succession planning
- facilitate communication through meetings fostering transparency
- mentor team in skill development using corrective actions as needed
- champion departmental and hotelwide initiatives training staff accordingly
- maintain communication with Director of Rooms aligning on departmental priorities
