Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for entire shift
- ability to maintain regular attendance according to scheduling needs
- high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- adherence to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning equipment
- capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and handle exposure to cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper attire/uniform and name tag
- thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
- restock and replace used items within guest rooms
- communicate clean status of each room to office coordinator upon completion
- stock supply cart and ensure it is neat and well organized at all times
- check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order
- respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner
- maintain awareness of in-house groups, meetings, and locations by reviewing daily schedules to answer questions for guests
- attend department meetings and required company training
- complete other tasks as assigned by management
