Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for entire shift
  • ability to maintain regular attendance according to scheduling needs
  • high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • adherence to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning equipment
  • capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • physical ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and handle exposure to cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper attire/uniform and name tag
  • thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
  • restock and replace used items within guest rooms
  • communicate clean status of each room to office coordinator upon completion
  • stock supply cart and ensure it is neat and well organized at all times
  • check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order
  • respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner
  • maintain awareness of in-house groups, meetings, and locations by reviewing daily schedules to answer questions for guests
  • attend department meetings and required company training
  • complete other tasks as assigned by management
