Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role in a hospitality setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, managing multiple tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items
  • Proficiency with housekeeping management software and tools

Job Duties

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet the resort's cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Conduct detailed inspections of rooms after cleaning, checking for any missed areas or items that need attention
  • Provide feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff to improve cleaning practices and standards
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and follow-up actions
  • Assist with training new housekeeping staff, emphasizing quality and attention to detail
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service
  • Support housekeeping staff with room turnovers during peak periods if needed
  • Participate in housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping
