Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance
- frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- must be able to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor)
- must be able to use cleaning tools, carts, and housekeeping machinery safely and effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- reliable and self-motivated
- able to work independently or as part of a team
- flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred
- written and communication skills
- at least one year of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping position
Job Duties
- Assist room attendants by delivering and removing linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- maintain cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, elevators, lobbies, restrooms, and service areas
- collect, sort, and distribute soiled and fresh linens to appropriate locations
- respond promptly to guest requests and support other departments as needed
- clean and maintain housekeeping equipment and storage areas to ensure proper function and safety
- remove trash and recyclables from guest floors and service closets regularly
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items immediately to the supervisor
- support deep cleaning projects, furniture moves, and special housekeeping assignments
- uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies to maintain a secure and efficient workplace
