Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
minimum one year supervisory experience
valid driver's license
leadership experience in cleaning and maintenance
knowledge of cleaning methods and safety requirements
ability to work varied hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
physical ability to perform housekeeping duties including lifting up to 40 lbs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
minimum of one year supervisory experience over full-time and/or part-time staff
must have a valid driver's license
must have leadership experience with working knowledge of methods of cleaning, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment utilized in housekeeping and maintenance of a public assembly facility
working knowledge of safety requirements while utilizing housekeeping equipment, cleaning supplies, and chemicals
basic knowledge of rolling equipment and floor stripping procedures
working knowledge of cleaning timelines
good verbal and written communication skills
ability to work varied hours including frequent nights, holidays, and weekends
physical ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs for the duration of the shift

Job Duties

Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations
coordinate the housekeeping team to assure tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with instructions
perform inspections of tasks performed by housekeeping team
assist in training new team members on required tasks established by the department
assist with supervision of full-time and part-time staff in the absence of housekeeping supervisor
lead housekeeping team and participate in performing a wide variety of housekeeping tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping, polishing, waxing, mopping
report unsatisfactory or dangerous situations which cannot be immediately corrected to appropriate authority
perform all other duties as assigned
