Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6 to 12 months documented experience as a housekeeper preferred
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, safety practices as related to housekeeping or janitorial industry
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to read and understand service requests, container labels, product information, and directions on cleaning chemicals and other materials

Job Duties
- Schedule second shift shifts from 4:30PM to 12:00AM Monday through Friday
- Work rotating weekends as required
- Determine appropriate cleaning chemicals for various surface types including vinyl, painted surfaces, ceramic tile, metal, brick, wood, cork, and concrete
- Perform finishing techniques to protect and preserve floor finishes
- Maintain hospital environment in sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition
- Perform specific cleaning tasks such as dusting horizontal surfaces
- Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report needed repairs to equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures
- Adhere to company rules, technical procedures, and safety policies
- Perform other related housekeeping duties as assigned
