Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum age 18 is required
- ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision
- must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID 19 virus or have an approved exemption
- availability to work the evening shift including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is an asset
- familiarity with cleaning procedures and infection control protocols
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- strong attention to detail
- reliable and able to work independently
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform various cleaning duties to maintain clean, orderly, and safe conditions in all assigned areas
- follow established cleaning methods and procedures
- sanitize and disinfect patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- handle waste disposal and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors
- assist in setting up rooms and equipment as needed
- maintain secure storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
